Elijah's Harbor Christian Retreat provides a haven for Christian pastors, families, and those in ministry to rest, rejuvenate, and study the word of God in a safe, comfortable environment.

The property is lovely, but if you stay in any of the homes besides the mansion, beware that they are NOT what the photos of the mansion suggest. (Sadly there were bugs and other evidence of lack of care). Plus, the new manager (in 2015) is rather overbearing and sort of pushy, which made it much less restful than it could have been. He seems to have a good motivation but not a pastor's gentleness needed for a place like this. Michael Jackson, the owner, is fantastic and a great guy.

Elijah's Harbor is amazing. World class homes and suites. Five star meals. Catfish pond, river with dock, ATV's Zebra, Alpaca, Fallow Deer and even Zeedonks! They give a 50% discount for those in Ministry. Ministry managers Joe and Pati are such servant leaders. A must visit! Our very best family vacation was here.
