As pastor of Greater Antioch M.B.Church,Pastor Tate is a pastor after Gods own heart.He is filled with the holy ghost and willing to share Gods word with all who are willing to hear.There is no limit to the support that he shows to the congregation and community.HE is honest:preaching GODS word,not sugar-coating anything.HE is a married father of 4(one daughter pre-seaded him).our church motto is :The church that believes in love.our pastor is very attentive to the youth and seniors of the church.He is a wonderful singer,but quick to remind you that his calling is Preaching.Pastor Tate is also blessed to be the Pastor of St.James M.B.Church in Canton MS.Antioch M.B.Church is located in Jackson Ms,some 45min away.Our pastor has been preaching over 40 years.Keep on Preaching Gods WORD. truly thanking GOd for you!!!!!!!

Keeping it 100

Maintaining my desire to attend church over the years has been difficult. I found many pastors to be so hypocritical over the years I had almost given up on the idea of a man of God who was serious about God. Then I met Clyde Tate. I met him through my place of employment where he also had taken a job to help a friend and God truly moved. I met a man who admitted he was a frail human like the rest of us but who nevertheless ALWAYS managed to seek God's counsel and put God first in his daily activities and interactions with others. He is not judgemental and beyond that his attention to the flock God trust to him was beyond compare. I was able to observe these things without being asked to come to church 20 times a day and the result was a renewed desire to increase my walk with God. True leadership.
Man of God

Rev. Tate preached Revival here in the Rolling Fork, MS area for Rev. Charlie Ceaser some years ago. During that time, he talked about his sickness, but I see that God has brought him through... He's a Wonderful teacher and I can truly say "he's a man of God". Keep teaching his word and you will have many followers Rev. Tate

Pastor Tate is a wonderful Man of God.I certainly enjoy his preaching whenever and wherever I have an opportunity to hear him.This man is on fire for the Lord every time he preaches! He preaches as they say "it's your last day." It's always a blessing to hear the word going forth especially when it's the gospel. Keep preaching the word Pastor Tate and some 'sanging' from you every now & then is always awesome:) Be encouraged as you continue to deliver the word.
a really nice preacher

pastor tate is a very nice man. He knows how to make you understand GOD'S word.I'm 17 and he knows how to preach to the young as well as the old. I like to visit Greater Antioch with my mother Elizabeth Mcgee. Keep up the good work
TO GOD BE THE GLORY

On SUNDAY JAN 6th 2013 GOD opened the FLOOD GATES OF HEAVEN and showered down yet another blessing on the congregation of GREATER ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH. Our Pastor(the best since PAUL) followed GOD and we the members followed him into our new sanctuary. WE look forward to carrying on our church motto, "The Church That Believes In Love" in our new neighborhood. Different location, SAME SPIRIT!! SAME ANOINTING!! SAME GOD!!!!!!!

on Sunday august 26 2012 we the members of greater Antioch baptist church 1801 central st Jackson MS celebrated "GOD'S BLESSING TO US".A great man and a wonderful shepherd truly an anointed pastor being lead by the spirit of GOD to comfort and nurture his sheep as we go through life's everyday trials and tribulations. Thank you Lord for our pastor and thank you Pastor Clyde Tate for being obedient to the voice of GOD and staying 16 years. Lets pray together that God keeps you with the congregation for many more years to come.

Rev.Tate thanks for being my pastor,Thanks for the members for praying for my daughter Sonia,for God cleaning my child's blood of cancer she has one more treatment but she doesn't want to but I told her God will see you through, she said but mom I have to stay in the hospital so long from my children and I need to get back to work, as I said God is working it out. So pastor Sonia Moore and family in the prayer.

my pastor is a man who takes care of business first. thanks for everything you has for done for me. you was the one who took me down and the water. i be so glad to wake up every Sunday morning and coming to church just to hear the word of the day and when you sing those songs that touches me.

TATE IS TRULY A MAN OF GOD'S WORD...HE PREACHED REVIVAL AT A CHURCH IN MY COMMUNITY SEVEN YEARS AGO...AT THAT TIME I WAS GOING THROUGH A VERY DIFFICULT TIME IN MY LIFE AND BECAUSE OF HIS TEACHING DURING THAT TIME, I WAS ABLE TO MOVE FORWARD IN LIFE...HERE IT IS SEVEN YEARS LATER I AM ABLE NOT ONLY TO JOIN GREATER SAINT JAMES, BUT FAMILY AS WELL...I KNOW THAT THIS IS GOD'S DOING....KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB REV. TATE....LET US KEEP PRAYING FOR ONE ANOTHER
